It was a beautiful set of two pastel coloured suitcases, so delicate made. They did fit perfectly into the interior of Chanel´s house. She was so surprised and happy :))))

Christmas decoration....but just a bit!

Chanel is moving back into her house and she wanted to start the Christmas decoration while the living room still was empty! While she has been living in a box, some of her furniture has been worked on to get a more french look! Her shop is closed until after new year, due to some interior work. It suits her well, because now she has a lot of time to slowly move everything back into her house...she really missed it!

In front of the fireplace is a box containing a bit of christmas decorations. The box is made by Janne in one of our "miniature evenings". Together with  Janne and Rita, I made two Cristmas stockings and the green heartshaped moss covered thing on the floor! The rest is gifts from Janne :) The wreath and the guirlander
is made by me.

Moving day.....for Chanel!

When I saw the content of the french house spread all over the table, the first thing that ran through my head was; OMG: this is crazyyy!!!

I really like this new blog design, it is simple and clean, and gives the images more focus. But I miss some of the features from the old design, is there anyone who has good advice about stuff like that, how to add something to the blog, side bars etc?
By clicking on the different words on the left side you get a lot of choices of how to show the pictures, I like it a lot!! And by clicking on the B symbol on the left side you can still see the profile, followers and the blogs I follow!!

Bastian!

Strange heading you might think.....but it is the name of the new dog in the french household!
I, and Chanel of course, have got the most wonderful little Yorki (Yorkshire terrier) from the talented and ever so kind Lucy Maloney of "Designer Dog miniatures".
He is a superb and tiny little copy of the dog i had as a young girl. His name was of course; Bastian
(maybe short for Sebastian?)
Lucy Malony can make a copy of your dog or cat, or a dog and cat of the type you wish for in miniature.

Chanel is so happy about her new little friend! The breakfast in her kitchen is so much more fun with little Bastian jumping exited around her feet!

Sorry about the poor quality of the pictures who doesn't serve right to the fine fur and quality of the little dog, I had to take them with the Iphone !!!!

OFF TO PARIS!!!

Tomorrow we are heading for Paris and SIMP!!!

I am very exited, I am so looking forward to see Paris again and visit the fair of course.

But also because I will met a lot of YOU there!!!

Sorry for my absence from blog world lately, I just needed to focus on other thing for a while.

The fair will surely inspire me to do some mini work again!

This lovely urn is almost like a bride bouquet!

It was a gift from a very talented Japanese friend; Yukari Miyazaki

It is very tiny and delicat, and those white flowers in between are soo tiny!!!

The Luis Vuitton bag is a gift from Jose Gomez

A spanish bag and suitcase maker, specializing in copying Luis Vuitton.

He has their permission and blessing to do so, and are one of the few or non, outside the company equipped with their product catalogue!!!!

The hat box was one of the first really expensive items i purchased!

It's a copy of an unknown artist, she is called "Fisher woman with a basket"!!!

The necklace is made by Ursula Stürmer, purchased at The Kensington Dollhouse Festival some years ago. She has no website, but click on her name and the page from Birmingham Miniatura will give you her contact info.

Off to the "Masquerade Ball"!!!

Chanel's dress for the Masquerade Ball was ready friday evening!

She is so happy about it!!!!

She has spent a lot of time in front of the mirror!!

She had to try on the mask with the dress, and she is quite pleased with what she can see!!!

She is not used to wear a dress as big as this, so she had to figure out certain things.....

And put on some make up for when those masks have to come off!!

All day she wore the dress, restless walking from room to room.

Now she can't find her mask!!!

She found it in the bedroom!!

She decides to walk around wearing the mask, she wants to get used to it.... but I think she like the way she looks!!!

She can really feel the butterflies in her stomach now,  she walks restless from room to room!!

She finally rested a bit in her living room, and decided to calm down with a glass of wine!!

"O' no I cannot drink wine she thought...I have forgotten to eat anything!"

She poured herself some coffee and tried to think of anything she had an appetite for..

"Ahh.. one of Christel's delicious cupcakes is what I want now!"

"Ohh...lucky me!!!"

Now she's upstairs again for a last look in the mirror and a spray of her favorite perfume.

She is ready to be picked up !!!

It is a warm and nice evening, the ball is going to be so much fun!!!

I think she is hoping Philippe is hiding behind one of the mask's tonight...

KITCHEN UPDATE!

Nothing much new to the kitchen except the bench and sink. Also added a curtain!
